After you complete the steps for the ClickBank Affiliate program, your Genies will carry your code and all sales from your Genies will be recorded on the ClickBank website. You should log in to ClickBank.com regularly to check your stats and maintain your account.

So, now you are a ClickBank affiliate. What else can you do with ClickBank?

While you were in there signing up, did you look around? Did you take a look at the thousands of products that are in the ClickBank Marketplace?

You are not limited to using My Shopping Genie to promote ClickBank products and earn commissions. In fact, if you do have your own website (and all serious My Shopping Genie distributors should!) or post regularly to your blogs, it is entirely legal, ethical, and downright smart to be promoting ClickBank products independently.

Browse the Marketplace and look for products or services that appeal to your own needs and interests. Not all product creators provide good sales materials, but many do. Look for those who provide graphic or text promotional materials that you can use on your site or in your blogs. It really makes no difference whatsoever if your commission comes from a blog post or a click on your Genie. The links and the codes are the same. The only difference is how your buyer finds the ClickBank product, so it is certainly okay for you to promote your My Shopping Genie link in the same blog post.

Sunny Suggs, the owner of BootScootinTraffic (a manual traffic exchange), has written several very helpful guides for those of us who are new to website and product promotion. Her newest is  All About Clickbank, and she is allowing me to give it away. You can access the PDF document HERE.

All About Clickbank takes you through the steps of registering an account (as does your My Shopping Genie online office instructions), but it also shows you how to create “hop links” to promote ClickBank products in places other than your Genie.

NOTE: If you have not yet activated the ClickBank feature of your My Shopping Genie, do that FIRST, before you download and use any links in Sunny’s book. It probably really doesn’t matter, but it would be better for you to use the referral link in your MSG online office rather than Sunny’s referral link.

The ClickBank Marketplace will give you lots of ideas for good blog content, as well as increasing the likelihood of earning commissions. Don’t leave money on the table! Now that you are a ClickBank affiliate, take advantage of the opportunities that affiliation provides.

What in the world is “autoship”?

Autoship means you have a standing order with the company. Most MLMs require an autoship of a certain amount before you qualify for commissions on product sold, or even, perhaps, for introducing new people to the company.

Yes, it is easy to sign up with a company for ten bucks, but what if you can’t afford a monthly outlay of more than $100 (plus the cost shipping, often) to have a monthly supply of product shipped to you?

One of the most-often cited reasons for “failing” at MLM is the high cost of autoship and the inability to move the purchased product.

You buy it. You pay to have it shipped. It arrives (or you have to go get it!) You must store it. You often must find a place to display it for sale. And if you don’t sell it, it gathers dust in your garage. Maybe the company will buy it back if you decide to quit. Maybe you can sell it on eBay (usually against company terms), or at a yard sale. Maybe you can use your leftover product for gifts for the next seven years.

What if you didn’t have to have any product sent to you?

What if you didn’t need to store anything?

What if you paid a little more initially and never had to worry again about a large monthly autoship?

Let me tell you more about My Shopping Genie and the Genie’s monthly “autoship”

The new My Shopping Genie online office

With the release of Genie 3.0 and the complete restructuring of the MyNet Universe pay plan, the software for tracking referrals got a makeover. The software used to keep track of your team, as you build your business, uses the term “autoship” because it is common in the MLM world.

But there IS no autoship with My Shopping Genie! Nothing is shipped at all!

My Shopping Genie is software! It is freely available on the Internet and can be downloaded from any distributor’s company website. There is no cost to download the My Shopping Genie bargain-finding software. No personal information is required. No name and email must be shared. Distributors will never know exactly who has downloaded their software (unless the distributor has spoken or contacted the individuals personally and, perhaps, walked them through the downloading process). Nothing in the distributor’s online office tells him who has his Genies!

So, what does “autoship” mean with the My Shopping Genie program?

To become a licensed distributor of My Shopping Genie, one must pay a one-time fee of $199. This is not an annual fee; it is a one-time ever in your life fee. This fee gives the distributor access to the online office and all the marketing materials available to My Shopping Genie distributors. It allows the distributor to add his logo and website link to his Genies so that he can advertise whatever other business opportunity, non-profit organization, brick-and-mortar store, or website that he wishes. It allows him to build a page on the Internet for his offline business, or to create coupons if he wants to give his Genie users a special discount. It allows him to enter his affiliate IDs from Amazon.com, Commission Junction, or ClickBank so that he can earn commissions on sales that result through the use of the Genies he gives away. And much more.

But in order to earn commissions from sales or clicks through his distributed Genies, or bonuses for introducing new people to My Shopping Genie, he must pay a monthly licensing fee of $29.

The one-time fee of $199 might be a little more than some MLMs require in monthly autoship, but it’s a one time outlay! The $29 to maintain the license of the Genies you give away is much less than most monthly “autoships”.

Don’t let the term “autoship” confuse you! Autoship at My Shopping Genie is the monthly license fee. You must set this up (credit card or direct bank debit) in order to qualify to earn the commissions you may be entitled to from the use of your distributed Genies, or the bonuses you can earn by sharing your opportunity with others.

The commission from one sale through your Genie might easily be greater than your monthly license fee! ClickBank products often offer sales commission of 40% to 50%, and can you imagine what the sales commission would be on one flat screen television? Don’t leave money on the table!

September 13th, 2009, is the deadline for current My Shopping Genie distributors to set up “autoship” in their online offices. It is simple to do. Use your bank debit card, an online bank check, or a credit card. Each month on the date you set it up, you will be billed. It’s just as easy to stop, but you then will not be eligible to earn commissions or bonuses. It definitely pays to be on autoship! The software uses this term (autoship), but we know there’s nothing to ship and nothing to store!

It is not too late to jump on board!

If you are not yet a MyNet Universe distributor of My Shopping Genie, it is not too late for you to become a licensed distributor and reap the benefits of the new matrix and pay plan. You must be on autoship to get paid the $50 and $10 bonuses that start next week!

You must also be on autoship to hold sales credits if you have one team larger than the other!

It only makes sense to be on autoship on 9/13 and see what you earn and what volume you hold. Held sales volume is deferred income if you keep your position active and some day build your weaker team.
